PET FOOD PANTRY

Are you in need of cat or dog food/supplies? While NAS may be able to help for small quantities, here's a few more resources to try.
Helping Paws Pet Food Pantry

Fox Valley Humane Pet Food Pantry

LOW COST VET CARE

Pets Supplies Plus - Low cost clinics
Vetco - Vaccinations and Tests
FVHA - Vaccinations, Microchipping and some Tests
PetVet Clinic at Tractor Supply on Calumet St in Appleton - Vaccinations and Some Tests (check PetVet Clinic website for details)

LOW COST SPAY & NEUTER

It's impossible to determine how many stray dogs and cats are currently in the US at any given time. Some believe there are at least 70 million stray cats. Help us find homes for all homeless animals by controlling over population by spaying and neutering your pets.

WILDLIFE

If the baby animal appears uninjured and out of harm’s way it is best to let them be! The majority of mothers leave their babies unattended while they search for food and to avoid detection from predators. More often than not, the baby is fine. Remember just because a baby is alone, does not mean it has been abandoned.

If the baby is hurt or you know it has been abandoned, follow the links below for tips on how to help. Remember, it is illegal in WI to house wildlife unless you are a license rehabilitator.  Also, the Neenah Animal Shelter is not equipped or licensed to care for wildlife, so please, reach out to the experts.
