All those interested in volunteering must attend orientation and additional training dependent on area of interest.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Neenah Animal Shelter! Our volunteers are the reason we can keep our doors open and take better care of the animals. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! We are always looking for volunteers in the following areas:

• Dog Socializing/Walking
• Dog Enrichment
• Dog Bathing
• Cat Socializing
• Cat Litter Box Scooping / Feeding
• Lawn Maintenance
• Cage Cleaner
• Outreach/Educational Events
• Fundraising Event

* Depending on your preferred area of volunteering, you may be required to sign up for task specific training*.

​After it has been processed, you will receive an email with further instruction.  Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer and must have a parent/legal guardian present. DOG VOLUNTEERS MUST BE 18+

Please note that NAS does not have a volunteer program for people who need to complete court or school ordered volunteer hours. We cannot sign off on community service hours.

Additionally, due to limited space, we cannot accommodate groups larger than 3 at a single time with the exception of events and special projects. For example scouts, 4-H, service groups, etc.
