JUNIOR VOLUNTEERS

To volunteer at the shelter, Junior volunteers must be at least 13 years old  to sign up and attend volunteer orientation . More information on volunteering is located here.

If you're looking for other ways to help outside of volunteering, we accept wish list items and monetary donations in any size or amount from any age group. Whether it's a girl scout troop, boy scout troop, a school project, or birthday party donation, we'll take them all! Donations can be dropped off during open hours.

Here are some ideas to get you started:
  • Snuffle Pads instead of knot or tie blankets - click here for directions.
  • Bird feeders such as pine cones dipped in peanut butter and bird seed
  • Start seedlings for the Garden Party
  • Create an adoption flyer for the shelter or a specific animal
  • Holiday decor for us to hang in the office
  • Paint inspirational rocks for our garden
  • Kat Kickers/Kick Sticks: https://soeasybeinggreen-blog.com/diy-cat-toy-cat-kick-stick/
  • Donation drive from our wish or Amazon list
  • Create adoption vests and/or donation collecting vests

When the donations are being dropped off, we would love to get a picture and give a special thank you from a dog or cat.  If you have any questions, please let us know at admin@neenahanimalshelter.org.
